Sprouted from farm-kid roots, tended by loving parents (and siblings), and steeped in 4-H training through my first 20 years of life!
IF I wasn't born a Geographer, those family road-trips were certainly a force of 'nurture'.
So fortunate to have had a professional career aligned with my deep curiosity and love of mountains, forests, volcanos, and rivers.

What a special and precious dog she is. I've had many GOOD DOGs, but this one is simply remarkable (whether hanging out in the farm truck or cruising the highways).
Ever kind, joyful, and tolerant of many life situations over our decade together.
